March First Friday 2019 - Celebrate Women's History Month

Gallery 30, celebrating 40 years as an artistic and literary landmark, is proud to celebrate Women’s History Month for March First Friday. Established in 1987 and designated by presidential proclamation, Women’s History Month recognizes the brave women who have fought for our civil rights, influenced our culture and society, and shaped our nation in many fields, including science, politics, law, academia, literature, and the arts. As a business owned, managed and operated by women, the celebration of Women’s History Month at our First Friday event is especially meaningful to us. It reminds all Americans that the achievements, leadership, courage, and strength of these great American women deserves to be respected and remembered.

Please join us this First Friday and throughout March, as we celebrate and honor our women artists and authors, including Simonne Roy, Diane Monday, Juls Buehrer, Karla Gudeon, Susan Daul, Judy Pyle, Ayala Bar, Michal Golan, Susan Hill, Carol Reardon and Susan Gindlesperger.

Come visit Gallery 30 Friday, March 1, 2019 to celebrate women, explore local art, and enjoy a wine and cheese reception from 5-7:30 pm. For more information visit www.gallery30.com or call 717-334-0335.
