Mason's Curlew by Paul Irving
Maryland carver Paul Irving began carving wildfowl decoys nearly 30 years ago. Today the master carver handcrafts phenomenal wood carvings of native birds with a special focus on shorebirds such as curlews, gulls and sandpipers. Paul handcrafts every detail from the first cut of wood to the last brush stroke. Some of Paul's carvings are unpainted in order to display the gorgeous grain of the wood. Each carving is unique and therefore may vary slightly from the photo.
Local artist. Carved with various woods, including Northern pine, chesnut and butternut. Inlaid glass eyes. Handcarved and handpainted in the USA.
