Written by the captain of Company K, this reprint of the original 1891 book, tells the story of the company of infantrymen who were recruited and enlisted in Adams County Pennsylvania. These men later found themselves in the unique situation of fighting in and around their hometowns while fighting in the Battle of Gettysburg. The men of Company K are now honored with a monument on the town square in Gettysburg.
