October First Friday: Pennsylvania Artist Simonne Roy
Posted by Linda Atiyeh - August 30, 2019 - Gallery 30, celebrating 40 years as an artistic and literary landmark in historic downtown Gettysburg, will host award-winning Pennsylvania Plein Air Artist, Simonne Roy, during the First Friday reception on October 4. Roy will be on hand to discuss her artistic process and the practice of Plein air painting. She will also unveil several new Gettysburg Battlefield and Gettysburg College paintings, which will be on display and for sale.
Meet The New Kid On The Block
We're very excited to share that our sister business, The Upper Crust, opened on June 18, 2019. A labor of love for Gallery 30 owner Linda Atiyeh, The Upper Crust resides in the former Gettysburg Moose Lodge, across the street from Gallery 30. Linda acquired the building in 2017, gutted it from floor to rafter, and designed and built the Upper Crust with the help of local tradesmen. She kept many of the building's original architectural elements - reusing them in new and inventive ways.
August First Friday: Meet Local Author Jonathan Frazier

On display will be more than fifteen original paintings, all of which are available for purchase. Jonathan will also be on hand to demonstrate and discuss his artistic process.

July 2019 First Friday: Panoramic Photographer and Local Author
