Posted by Linda Atiyeh - May 1, 2017
Gallery 30 will feature local authors Michael J. Birkner and Carol A. Hegeman signing their new book, Images of America: Eisenhower’s Gettysburg Farm for First Friday on May 5th.
Elegantly told through historical photos and research drawn from the archives of the Eisenhower National Historic Site, Images of America: Eisenhower’s Gettysburg Farm, shares the story of Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower's years in Gettysburg. Beginning with their purchase of the Allen Redding farm in 1950 during Eisenhower's presidency and continuing through their retirement in Gettysburg, Images of America: Eisenhower’s Gettysburg Farm will delight the Gettysburg history buff in all of us.
