January First Friday: Celebrate Jewelry
Posted by Linda Atiyeh - January 4, 2016
Gallery 30 celebrates the New Year with Ellen Kelly's enchanting Jola Collage jewelry collection - an eclectic blend of metal and mediums juxtaposed between art and fashion.
Handcrafted in America, Ellen Kelly meticulously creates each piece with Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, resin, beads, and other embellishments. Ellen designs molds for all the metalwork using wax and clay and then casts the piece in a pewter alloy to create the metal elements. The finished piece is coated with sterling silver, 24K gold, or copper.
